At Café Inglês there’s always the delicious possibility to hear live music on Friday and Saturday evenings after 8.30pm, and on Sundays after 3pm.
Situated on the Castle Steps, next to the walls of Silves Castle, you find this wonderful place in a hundred-year-old building converted into a bar/ restaurant/ café. The décor retains some of the 19th century style, perfectly adapted to fit the space – with candles in coloured glass holders decorating the terrace. The terrace has an incredible view over the town.
Every month Café Inglês hosts exhibitions of paintings. The international cuisine is simple, and, outside on the terrace, pizzas are served – going down brilliantly with a good red wine at the end of the day.
