His restaurant is situated between Guia and Praia da Galé and his principal objective is to promote regional wines of the Algarve – particularly less well-known labels, as long as they’re excellent. Instead of having a fixed house wine, there’s a new suggestion every month. The cuisine’s inspired by traditional Portuguese fare and makes use of organic produce. Try the three-course menu for €15, excluding drinks. And if you choose this
option: get up, take your plate to the table, and serve yourself from the wide selection of starters.
Specialities: Portuguese and Algarvian cuisine; Opening times: lunches from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, dinners from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
