Located alongside the Algarve International Autodrome, in Portimão, the new space for karting buffs will open its doors to the public on 4th April.
It cost around 11 million euros, and is 26.000 square kilometres in total.
The new infrastructure is destined for use by businesses and private individuals.
There’ll be 60 karts in all available for rent – the smallest with 150 cc, up to more powerful 40 hp machines.
The multi-purpose new piste – 9.5 metres wide – allows for tests for karts of up to 200 hp, as well as driving lessons and courses.
To inaugurate the opening of the new facility, the World Series of Karting will be going ahead at the track during the weekend of 3rd and 4th July.
