The three new routes will run twice weekly, at the beginning and end of every week (Mondays and Fridays for Nantes and Milan, and Tuesdays and Fridays for Marseilles). The Nantes and Milan routes begin on 26 March, followed the next day by the Milan flights.
The low-cost Irish airline says that the opening of these new routes – bringing Ryanair flights leaving Faro to 30 – shows that the company “continues to invest in the success of the Algarve region”, to and from which it transported 1.5 million passengers last year.
In 2011, Ryanair purchased 37 new 737-800 planes and it is already selling flights to Milan/ Bergamo from €29.99, to Marseilles for €35.99 and to Nantes for €37.99.
